The East Walker is flowing at its ridiculous low winter flow of 23 cfs. Anglers have been hooking fish reasonably consistently with Midge and Baetis patterns as well as streamers and a few attacks on the mouse. For patterns use my suggested patterns from my some of my last reports.. Try a SJ worm or a green Caddis Worm on top with a small midge pattern/small baetis below. Some samples are; Flash Bang Midges #18-20, T-Midge Emergers in lighter shades #18-20, Z- Midge emergers #18-20, WD-40’s in lighter colours, and RS2’s and CDC cased emergers in similar sizes. After these storms the big boys could be moving. We will know soon enough!
